Camlo

               My name is Camlo, yes that is my real name. I am from San Diego, California and lived here for most of my life. An avid domestic traveler through USA, Canada, and Mexico. Always had the itch to teach English overseas, but put it off for years. Instead, did what most people do and go right into work after college. 10 years in corporate America I decided at 32 years old, with my Fiancé, to make the move. Korea here we come! We had to stop everything, sell our stuff, and find temporary homes for our pets. Not an easy process, yet rewarding.

During our year in Korea, we were able to travel throughout the country almost weekly. As well visiting 4 other countries on the holidays. After the contract completion, was fortunate enough to have our travels continued backpacking 3 months to 7 more countries. Making it 11 total countries! It was a trip of a lifetime and gave such a satisfaction that money couldn’t buy. This website is a culmination of that journey. With some of the tips and experiences that we had that I can give back to you.  

A little bit about my background… I’m mostly an outdoors person and a huge sports fans. Always love to bike, hike, jump in the ocean on a body board, or even slide down the snow. Played many sports growing up and up to with playing at a moment’s notice. Also a certified Personal Trainer and working  to become a Health Coach. Event though, with respect to food I should be my first client since I don’t mind a fat bomb or sugar bomb. I received a B.A. in Business Economics at Long Beach State and completed a M.A. in Organizational Management at Ashford University.
